Sons Of Spielberg (2012 - Present)
Director: Liam Johnston & Stuart Hamilton
Genre: Comedy Web Series
I play Niall in The Sons Of Spielberg, a long running Dundee based web series that focuses on the trials and tribulations of starting up a fledgling film making business. Based on the real life adventures of Liam and Stuart, if you've ever worked in the film business you'll recognise the situations and characters inherent to the show.
Very well recieved in festivals upon its release, after 3 episodes and 2 holiday specials there has been a brief pause as our real life film making business' took precedence. But I can announce that as of a few days ago I received the script for a new episode with two more to follow. It's a genuinely funny, witty, carefully crafted comedy that uses both physical comedy and relatable themes to great effect.

The first concerns a giant mutate octopus, and the sequel Journey concerns a plesiosaur, Tessie, that is picking off Dundonians. And only one 3 people can stop them: McGonnigal - the maverick DJ who doesn't play by the rules but gets results, his weather reporting sidekick; Jimmy, who's entirely by the book (in fact he wrote it) and Sandy Malone; the sexy scientist who specialises in aquatic orthotics. Will they save the day before Dundee is destroyed completely?
Both films are a lot of fun, utilising lo fi animation to create the monsters.
